In the frame of the project „Move and change circumstances under you live” implemented by CA Sretenje from Pozega and supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation-SDC, one of last activities was implemented. Youngsters participated in a radio broadcast called “Use energy- Move your self!” and presented activities which were designed and implemented in their local communities-Arilje and Pozega. They also told about their future plans referring to motivation of youngsters to become active and point their needs out as well as to offer possible solutions for better life of youngsters.

A humanitarian concert under a title

In the framework of the project "Move and change circumstances under you live“ implemented by CA Sretenje and supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, youngsters of Arilje planned and implemented an action "Skiing school".
From January 12th to January 17th, 2009 formed team of youngsters was organizing skiing school for 250 students of primary school during winter holiday and that way made a contribution to quality of their free time.
On Friday, January 17th, the final event was held on mountain Golija. The competition was organized and awards were given.

In the framework of the project „Move and change circumstances under you live“ supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, CA Sretenje on December 28th and 29th held two trainings in Pozega and Arilje for youngsters from political parties and students parliaments.
Participants of the training had an opportunity to acquire certain knowledge about local self-government functioning and identify problems of youngsters in the local community.
During the training they made a plan for an action which is to be implemented in January, 2009.

Last week dwellers of the local community Jelen Do continually was trying to establish a dialogue with responsible institutions as well as leaders of quarry which endanger lives of 35 families in the local community.
During last two years dwellers have been trying to establish a dialogue with all stake holders due to solve the problem caused by quarry work which endangers lives. Mining causes dusting and whole village is covered with dust. Stones fly and till now it have hurt just animals.Houses are endangered by great quakes and they also could have caused demolition of old ones.
Citizens gathered around the Environmental association Kamena prasina (Stone dust) which capacities have been enhanced through the project Strategic litigation in local communities which was implemented last year in the local community by side of CA Sretenje, self organized end animated representatives of local community, police, judiciary, inspection services and media with aim to make life better.
Local authorities promised that they will send services which will estimate damage made by quarry, but representatives of the NEXE group quarry did not accept to meet with the CA Kamena prasina.
Citizens of the local community will make a citizens’ gathering due to define their requests and send them to responsible institutions at local, regional and state level.
